Natural sand is formed through river erosion, producing smooth, rounded particles. Manufactured sand is produced during the stone-crushing process, resulting in a more angular and coarse material. Capitol sells natural sand at the Poteet and Hoban plants. Capitol offers manufactured sand at the Delta Materials, Rio Medina Quarry, and Solms Quarry.
