The most widely used building material in the world, Portland cement is the key ingredient in concrete. Concrete is formed when Portland cement combines with water to create a paste that binds with sand and rock to harden. Thanks to its strength, durability, and versatility, cement has countless uses in construction. Capitol sells cement from its San Antonio Cement Plant.
