Pre-coat aggregate is crushed stone coated with a thin layer of oil, primarily used in asphalt applications. The Delta Materials Pugmill and Hoban Plant produce and sell pre-coated asphalt for highway use. Additionally, the Hoban Plant manufactures and sells both hot mix and cold-laid asphalt products.
